It is no surprise to anyone that America faces many challenges today: from Pandemic recovery, to economic revival, to border control, to exterior challenges from the likes of China and Iran. One would hope that these are the things on which our government is laser-focused. It bothers me that our Federal and some of our State and Municipal bodies are often diverted onto seemingly mundane issues like “bathroom comfort” for a few. I respect the right of every citizen to seek ‘comfort’, but provided it does not inhibit the rights of others to enjoy the same privilege.
Certainly, the rights of both minorities and the majorities are equally important, but one should not be gratified at the expense of the other. I have a simple solution to this bathroom question over which some schools are agonizing. If you have male ‘equipment’ you go to the room marked MEN. If you have female ‘equipment’ you go to the room marked LADIES. If you need the comfort of privacy, you go to the private stall in the appropriate bathroom. If that doesn’t work there is always the great American outdoors. Of course, that might make the rabbits uncomfortable. It’s hard to please everyone.
